Summary: First it started with one a night, but as time passed the amount of times Pete called Patrick in one day was more than the amount of hours there were. Patrick tried to ignore them at first, but found himself unable to after he heard the first three or four pleading messages and he found himself picking up, listening to Pete apologize over and over again in a drunken stupor.

“No. I haven’t talked to my boyfriend since yesterday, like afternoon yesterday, so I don’t know where he is or what the hell he is doing.” Patrick took his anger out on Travie and glared at the picture of Pete that he had on the desk.

Summary: The next morning Patrick woke up alone. His mind started going through scenarios including that last night was a dream, that Pete hadn’t come over broken, but in his heart he knew the truth. Glancing around he saw Pete’s shoes and clothes still on the floor and then he heard it, a small sob, come from the direction of his bathroom.
